A Heidelberg Holiday

Drama • NR • Directed by: Maclain Nelson • 84 minutes

Heidi Heidelberg (Mason), an American artist always dreamed of visiting Heidelberg, Germany to sell her handmade glass ornaments in the prestigious Heidelberg Christmas Market. Heidelberg is even more special to her since her grandmother ‘Oma’ was from there. After multiple submissions (and rejections) to become a Christmas market vendor, Heidi receives the great news from her grandmother that a vendor dropped out and a spot is available this holiday season. There she meets Lukas (Brossier), who is the son of the elderly couple she’s renting a guest cottage from. Lukas has amazing woodworking skills and has recently taken over his family’s handmade furniture shop. Everything is picture perfect until she realizes her ornaments were destroyed while being delivered and she no longer has anything to sell at the Heidelberg Christmas Market. With nothing to sell, Heidi and Lukas work together to create custom pieces of art using his handmade carvings and pieces from her shattered ornaments. Their creations sell out in the Christmas market. Her Oma shows up to the Christmas market and they all celebrate a traditional Heidelberg Christmas together, with Heidi and Lukas ending the night with a very special kiss under the Christmas tree.
