It Came from Outer Space

Sci-Fi & Fantasy • G • Directed by: Jack Arnold • 80 minutes

Just as exciting and intriguing as when it was first released in the 1950s, It Came from Outer Space is a classic sci-fi tale of terror and paranoia. When amateur astronomer John Putnam (Richard Carlson) and his fiancée (Barbara Rush) spot a spaceship crash-landing in the desert, the nearby townspeople refuse to believe their outlandish claim. But when locals start disappearing – only to be replaced by alien clones – it’s up to John to find out what the extraterrestrials’ real motives are before chaos consumes the town. Based on a story by acclaimed writer Ray Bradbury, it’s a fun and frantic tale about “first contact” between two curious species.
